The Fibonatix team will be in Limassol from 16 to 18 June for iFX EXPO International 2026, held at the City of Dreams Mediterranean. The event draws over 6,500 attendees from 130+ countries, with 3,000+ companies across brokers, liquidity providers, payment service providers, fintechs, and affiliates. It is the largest B2B online trading expo in Europe, and this year's agenda gives it sharper relevance than usual.

What's on the agenda

The event opens on Wednesday with a keynote from Dr. George Theocharides, Chairman of the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC). With Cyprus holding the EU Presidency and several regulatory shifts underway, this session covers the policy priorities shaping financial markets across the EEA—directly relevant to any payment provider or broker operating in the region.

Thursday's programme includes a panel we are particularly interested in: "Who Will Power the Future of Global Payments?" brings together senior figures from across the payments and acquiring space to examine how payment infrastructure is evolving for brokers operating in today's market. Later that afternoon, "Where the Market Is Actually Moving" draws on discussions with ESMA and CySEC to examine the volume trends and regulatory developments that should be informing expansion decisions in 2026.

Also worth attending on Thursday: "Real Failure Cases: Lessons from the Brokers Who Learned the Hard Way"—a session on risk management blind spots and operational resilience in volatile conditions. The payment angle rarely gets named explicitly in sessions like this, but acquiring instability sits behind a significant number of the operational failures brokers experience under pressure.

Why Fibonatix is attending

We work with online trading, Forex, and prop trading businesses across the UK and EEA that need a payment partner who understands their regulatory environment and will stay the course when volumes spike or conditions shift. iFX EXPO is where we stay close to the conversations our clients are already having: on regulation, infrastructure, and what sound payment operations actually look like at scale.

We do not have a stand this year. The conversations we want to have are better suited to the floor and the margins of the programme than to a fixed booth.

If you are attending and want to talk through your current payment setup—whether that is about acquiring continuity, chargeback management, or what a long-term payment partnership looks like for a regulated trading platform—we would welcome the conversation.
